Day 31-Chosen, Consecrated, and Sent
Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. — Ephesians 1:4 (NKJV)
Summary
As we come to the close of these 31 days of consecration, we are reminded that this journey did not begin with us—it began with God. Before the foundation of the world, He chose us in Christ to live set apart, rooted in love, and aligned with His purposes. Consecration has never been about earning His approval but about positioning our hearts to walk in what He has already prepared.
Insight for Today
Consecration is not a moment; it is a posture. Over these past days, God may have gently revealed areas that needed surrender, refinement, or renewed attention. He may have spoken about laying things down, responding more quickly to His voice, or realigning priorities. These revelations are not meant to weigh us down, but to prepare us. What God consecrates, He also commissions.
Going Deeper
Being chosen “before the foundation of the world” means your life carries intention and direction. Seasons of consecration often precede seasons of movement. As God sets things in order within us, He is also preparing to release us into what lies ahead. Some areas may still need ongoing attention, while others may now be strengthened and established. Consecration is not the end of the journey—it is the doorway into walking fully in His will.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for meeting me throughout this season of consecration. I acknowledge the areas You have highlighted, the ways You have spoken, and the work You have begun in my heart. I surrender myself afresh to You. Continue to refine what needs refining and strengthen what You have established. I trust You as You lead me forward into all You have prepared for me. Amen.
Reflection
As you reflect on these past 31 days, what has God been speaking to you? Are there areas that still need continued surrender or intentional focus? How might God be inviting you to step forward into what He has been preparing you for during this season of consecration?
